Downhill Family Laundry

I recently tried a new Tide laundry product called Evo. The Evo pods are flat squares of what I would call powder detergent. I wanted to test them at home and then take them on our next trip.

I always travel with laundry pods when we go to Downhill Resorts and Parks. My daughter especially needs her downhill clothes washed daily for skin issues. I like to keep our bedding free and clean from loose dirt and mud. With everyone coming in dirty and our dog walking trails, I do a lot of laundry while on trips.

Occasionally the liquid pods will crush in transit and make the container I have packed them in oozey with liquid detergent. This product is not liquid so it shouldn’t create that problem, but I wanted to check them out at home first.

The Evo pods are expensive as far as price per unit goes. Even when they are on sale, they are still pretty pricey. But I like that they come in a paper box and that they can be easily counted and that they won’t break open.

I tried them out at home. They seem to make the laundry smell very Tide-ish which I like. But I will see if they cause any issues with the kids’ skin and how the kids feel about smelling Tide-ish while exercising or riding and I will try traveling with them on next trip and see how they hold up in transit. Stay tuned!
