The drive to Bryce from Woodstock was beautiful and easy. The weather was perfect. The views of the Shenandoah Valley are amazing. They bring my blood pressure down on the spot.
Checking my daughter into her lesson was very easy.
She had a group lesson but she was the only rider so it turned out to be basically a private. Her coach’s name was Madison. He was great. He saw that her shocks needed to be adjusted for her weight and did that for us all the while explaining the reasons for this adjustment and also how to do it. He also suggested narrower handle bars which we’ll have to get done at home.
She has a hard time getting the bike in the lift and he helped with that. She had a good lesson. Her favorite trail is named “Old Fashion.”
I spent the hour and half in the Shenandoah Center reading and writing. It was fabulous.
