Downhill Family Parenting

I am not sure, but I feel like deep down dads just want to share what they love to do with their kids. This dad is getting his son ready for riding downhill at Snowshoe. He is checking the fit and comfort of the chest plate and adjusting the touch fasteners (a.k.a. Velcro) strapping at the waist and arms. His son has a slim build and it seems brand new to the sport and so there’s a balance of comfort and protection. His shorts are nice and long to cover the skin from hip to knee but they are comfy and small enough in the waist to fit properly. It’s work to get the details right and it’s a moving target because kids are always growing but having a shared experience with your child is much different from watching them from the sideline.
