Downhill Family

We love the Fourth of July at Snowshoe! They always book great bands. Yesterday, the weather was a little crazy in the afternoon, but after it settled down, it was amazing for the late afternoon and into the evening. The vibe was awesome.

The kids and toddlers are always riding bikes, scooters and skates, throwing footballs and dancing. I saw people playing hackie sack, cards and just laughing and talking. Oh, and there are always tons of happy dogs. We love it!

The bands featured were very good. By good, I mean, talented, artful, passionate about music, experienced performers and professional. I felt very lucky to be exposed to great musicians at a small open air venue. It’s always feels Ike a treat.

• Creek Don’t Rise was the opener. They are a regional band.
• Boot Leg Dynasty was the headliner and they are from Willmington, NC.
